Azriel Kadim comes from a long history of business development in fields such as chemistry, materials, biotechnology and life sciences. The former director of the Yeda Research and Development Company, the commercial arm of the Weizmann Institute, Azriel elevated many projects to the point of successful commercialization. As the CEO of Orlite, a subsidiary of the Israel Aircraft Industry and Poalim Investment Company, Azriel led the development and production of diverse aircraft parts for military and civilian use. As manager of the Israel activities of AAI USA, the American company that provides research and development for the US Navy, he negotiated an agreement for the development and supply of drones (aircraft piloted by remote control) to the US Navy. Azriel holds a BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from the Technion.
